YOUR TIME IS NOW
JOIN OUR MISSION
At Help2Others, our mission is to help bridge the gap between an overburdened foster care system and the young people who age out at 18 years old. We do this by providing mentorship to help these young adults navigate a system that was simply not built for them. I’ve been a mentor for 10 years now and the work certainly gives you a look into a homegrown American problem that can really use your!
Sign up at Help2Others and you can become a part of the Seal Team Six Foster Care Mentors Program. I use the Seal Team Six reference because it is the perfect group for these analogies: You will be a hero every day and no one may ever know your name. If we are ever recognized nationally, it will be because we accomplished something that a lot of people didn’t think possible. And finally, you do it because your good at it and it’s what you were meant to do. Nobody mentors alone at Help2Others! How we support each other is representative of how we mentor the kids.

THE VILLAGE
I love helping people. Lucky for me, I also know the number one rule of helping: It Takes a Village!
Great achievements are never the result of one individual—they’re built through collaboration, shared vision, and collective effort. When we work together, combining our strengths and supporting one another, we accomplish far more than any one of us could alone.
I primarily work with three organizations: AKidsPlace, Ready For Life, and Grow into You. These three organizations play a vital role in supporting foster care kids, from foster care to providing post-foster care resources by bridging gaps where traditional systems fall short. Together, they provide safety, stability, and opportunity.
So, how does Help2Others fit in? Well, even with all the hard work going on every day, these kids and young adults need mentors. People like you and me who can help them navigate the world.
Remember that it takes a Village! Learn more about how you can join as a mentor, partner, donor, or volunteer.
